We worked on an IT solution that included several areas: near-real time policies, Bancassurance report, API and reduction of integration times and costs. A complex project for which we have put in place numerous functional and technological skills of an innovative nature.
The customer’s objectives were the high availability of the 24/7 issuance service and the possibility of activating policies with near real time timing, the reduction of costs and integration times of Bank customers, the general improvement in safety, reliability and customer support.
We created a new, evolved and dedicated API Manager. The architecture was designed according to the Custom-built API Gateway Product paradigm to ensure that the solution presents the features of simplicity of adoption compared to as-is. .NET technology has been used in an open source project to streamline the solution, using customer-owned software Pattern API Gateway guidelines. To simplify interfaces, the reengineering happened with the development of a middleware able to expose Cloud Ready microservices that interface with the existing legacy subsystems. We implemented a bi-directional transformation by introducing a new Orchestrator application component (between Gateway and BackEnd) of orchestration and transformation of legacy WS. In addition, as regards to monitoring and real time alerting, we developed the integration with an external open source monitoring system based on ELK stack, including dashboard and Alerting system.
