A bank specialized in the management of non performing loans acquired a competitor operator.

The customer needed to migrate data between the two systems, that owned by the originator company and that of the target company. It also had to migrate data managed in servicing and processed on behalf of third parties.

Starting from a blank sheet, we helped the customer to build a new migration process, employing our experience on this type of project and proactively bringing ideas to design a Migration Machine able to respond effectively and flexibly to any other acquisition of NPL portfolios from other banking institutions or holding companies. This machine was made using the Pentaho framework that led to the definition of about 350 transformations, on a dozen verticals merged into a single application.
